Air Fryer Roasted Radishes is a delicious healthy side dish that you can make under 15 mins. Learn how to cook radishes in air fryer with pantry staple ingredients. You'll have mildly sweet radishes with tender insides and slightly crispy outer edges. These air fryer radishes are not peppery at all and they are low carb, keto and vegan.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups radishes - **red globe radishes. Roots and tops trimmed and the radishes halved.
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • red pepper flakes - **use a pinch. If making for kids just akip the red pepper flakes.
  • 1.5 tablespoon olive oil - **use extra light or light olive oil.
  • salt to taste - **use according to your own personal taste preference.

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon parsley - **fresh parsley finely chopped. You can also sub the parsley with fresh chopped dill or chives.

Instructions
 

Prep Radishes

  • Trim the roots & tops from the red radishes. Save the leaves for later use. Rinse the radishes very well under running tap water to remove any dirt or debris and drain them in a colander or a strainer. Dice the radishes into halves and pat them dry completely with the help of kitchen towels. Place them in a large bowl.

Season radishes

  • Add olive oil, crushed black pepper, a pinch of red pepper flakes, garlic powder and salt according to your own personal taste preference. Toss the radishes to coat them well with the seasonings.

Air Fry

  • Pre-heat air fryer at 400 F. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil spray and layer the seasoned radishes inside the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400 F for 7-8 mins or until tender and crispy. You might have to slightly adjust the cook time depending on your air fryer make, model and brand. We tested this recipe using Instant Vortex, Bella air fryer and also using the instant pot air fryer lid. Serve the air fryer radishes with fresh chopped parsley, dill or chives and enjoy!

Notes

  2. Radishes: We used red radishes. You can also use Daikon radishes. Dice the daikon into ½ inch cubes. The recipe and the cook time would remain the same.
  3. Red pepper flakes: If you are heat intolerant or making this roasted radishes recipe for kids do skip the red pepper flakes.
